Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled and organized Data Organizing Associate to join our team! In this role you’ll support turf strategies and assignments for our field canvassing operations to engage with voters and support Democratic candidates up-and-down the ballot.
Data Organizing Associates cut turf accurately, manage turf distribution logistics, and ensure information is delivered to offices in a timely manner. Under the direction of the Data Organizing Manager and Office Manager, Data Organizing Associates will participate in planning and adjusting turf strategies according to office size and project needs. You will be responsible for ensuring our canvassers have accurate information and all essential details for their turf assignments. You must be able to navigate relevant software systems that facilitate turf management.
The ideal candidate is a team player, detail-oriented, excels at communicating effectively across diverse groups, and collaborates cross-functionally across teams. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a high level of organization will be key to your success. Candidates must be able to strategically plan geographic field logistics, implement structured workflows for managing / tracking turf progress, and analyze field data / metrics for quality control. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines is essential for this role.

Responsibilities
Cut and organize turf for canvassers according to weekly / daily plans
Participate in strategic planning sessions to align turf strategies with broader project goals
Coordinate with the Data Analytics team and Office Manager to ensure timely distribution of turf to offices
Review canvassing data in realtime and submit quality control reports to offices
Maintain accurate records of turf distribution and provide reports to the Data Analytics and Field teams
Analyze turf effectiveness and making adjustments as needed
Update Turf Penetration Reports
Qualifications
Prior experience in voter targeting, turf cutting, and data management
Proficient with political organizing tools such as NGP VAN and MiniVAN
Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications
Commitment to progressive values
Must have a laptop and smartphone with data service
